You would think I’d learn by now…
I go between three different passwords, sometimes four, when I create accounts or have to change the special word. Most of the time, there’s a requirement, or eight, that you have to follow; must contain numbers and letters. But at least one of those letters has to be capitalized. That’s not all, you also have to put in a special character, such as an exclamation point or an asterisk. Sometimes, the requirements get really specific, going as far as saying the same letter or number can’t repeat more than three times in a row. So if I want my password to be Cats4444* then guess what? I’m out of luck because I have too many fours.
Anyways. Everytime I go to log into something, such as facebook, twitter, or even my online homework, I always have to stop and think which password I associated to that account. Even better, nine times out of ten I type in the wrong one. I’ve gotten locked out of my account to pay my Internet bill at least three times, now, because of this. Every month, I tell myself I’m going to sit down one day and go through each account, writing down the usernames, passwords and emails assigned to each one and every month, I forget.
I guess I’ll never really learn organization. It’s not one of my strong suits and it never will be. I’ve gotten better since I started working at the hospital. I got a planner and have been writing in what I’m working and other plans I make. It’s a better way for me to keep track, however now I need to train myself to write down my homework and passwords! One step at a time. Baby steps, but it’s still progress.
